About Seven Lakes Soccer

The Seven Lakes Boys Varsity Soccer program was started in 2007 and played its first two years in 4A.  In that first year of varsity play, SLHS enrolled only freshmen, sophomores and juniors.  Despite the disadvantage, in 2007 the Spartans finished 2nd in district and advanced all the way to the regional finals in the state playoffs.

In 2008 the Spartans enjoyed a regular season record of 18-2-3, and won their district title.  They then advanced to the bi-district round of the playoffs.

2009 marked the program's emergence into 5A competition, where they have competed at ever since.  They have qualified for the 5A playoffs 4 times, most notably in 2013 when they advanced to the regional semi-finals and finished with a season record of 21-2-4.

Our 2016 squad finished the season as regional semi-finalists, advancing to the final 16 in the large school bracket of Texas known as 6A.
